Congratulations Allayne

on receiving life membership to the
Inner Western Suburbs Netball Association
   
                                                                                                                              
  From everyone associated with the Greenlees netball club, it gives us great pleasure to congratulate Allayne on her being awarded life membership to the I.W.S.N.A.

As everyone is aware, Allayne has devoted many many many hours to both the club, and to netball in the district. Allayne does so much work behind the scenes that we do not see. Allayne is the first to assist and encourage the younger players and umpires coming through the ranks. as well as shouldering much of the administrative work that is needed to keep the club running. Where does she find the time to coach so many teams?
Allayne has been an active member of the Greenlees Club for 22 years, and her efforts are visible to everyone.
 
 

This award is thoroughly deserved. Without Allayne's dedication and hard work, it would be hard to imagine the Greenlees Club being so successful.

    Allayne has a long history with the club., She must have started before she turned 1 year of age. Here is a very brief summary of Allayne's achievements with the club and the I.W.S.N.A
   

Allayne started her netball off with H.N.C. then moved to Drummoyne R.S.L. and has now been an active member of Greenlees Netball Club for 22 years.  Some of those years Allayne played for Drummoyne and coached for Greenlees. As you can see Allayne has a long standing association with I.W.S.N.A.  

UMPIRING

Allayne received her AANA Umpiring Badge over 20 years ago and has umpired many times at State and State Age Championship’s, as well as years of carnivals. She has also been on the Association Umpires Committee and coached many young umpires both for Greenlees and the Association.

COACHING

She achieved her level 1 coaching certificate and has Coached Representative sides for the Association now for 9 Years, which is a huge commitment with training 2 nights a week and attending carnivals on top of her club training and Saturday commitments. Also Allayne has run the Orientation to Coaching Course for the Association for the last 6 years, and helped out on the Level 1 coaching assessments for the Association. She also constantly updates her coaching skills with N.S.W. by attending courses with them.

EXECUTIVE POSITIONS

Allayne has now been on Greenlees Executive for 18 years, first as Umpires Convenor and for many many years now as Secretary. She has also served on the Association Executive as Minute Secretary for 6 years and a Representative Selector 1 year.
