highest importance to Greenlees Netball Club. Every measure is taken by the
Club to ensure that all children, while engaged in club training and
Saturday games, will be protected from all forms of abuse, including sexual,
physical and emotional abuse or neglect. The Club is aware of the Child Protection (prohibited Employment) Act of 1988 which prohibits any person who has ever been convicted of a serious sex crime (resulting in a jail sentence of 12 months or more) from working or volunteering in direct, unsupervised contact with children and young people. Further information can be obtained from the Commission for Children and Young People on 92867276. |
