INTRODUCTION OF FUNDRAISING LEVY
Due to some players not supporting last years fundraising efforts it was decided at the AGM that a fundraising levy will be placed on each players registration fees. This will mean that outside the Annual BBQ there will be no other requests to sell chocolates or raffle tickets.
REDUCTION IN NUMBER OF TROPHIES PRESENTED
At the AGM the practice of presenting each player a trophy was discussed with the aim to help reduce increasing costs. We are the only club that still continues this tradition with some having done away with a presentation day all together. It was decided that we would reduce the number presented, Saving the club approx $500 a season, while still ensuring that the younger players are not disappointed
Because of the lack of attendance of our older juniors at presentation day it was decided that In 2007 season teams 13years and older will only be awarded 3 trophies per team. Most Improved, Most Consistant and a Coaches Choice award. Mini Magpies to 12 years will continue to be as they have been in the past
2007 IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Greenlees this year is going to once again struggle with several of our 2006 coaches not coming back.
How does this effect you - Without coaches we are not able to enter teams. This could mean that teams may miss out on playing. Last year we had to reduce the number of teams in the 11 year old age and turn away players due to the lack of coaches.
If you are interested in coaching and have the time available to help we have all the aids and courses to help you. One thing to remember though is that the Club has a policy that you can not coach your daughters team. If you are interested in Coaching and 14years or older please see Allayne on Registration day or call on 0414314863
If you are 10 year old players in 2007 (born in 1997) you are required to attend a Grading Day at Cintra Park on Saturday 17th February 2005 between 10.00am and 12.00. A second grading session if needed (depending on team numbers) will be held Tuesday 20th February 2005 at Cintra Park between 5.00pm and 6.00pm. Please remember to bring your hat and a drink.
Other teams will
remain the same as previous years. Players may only be placed in a team if
there is a vacancy. Any requests regarding regrading need to be in writing
and can either be included with your registration form or given to the
President for discussion by the committee.

HOW TO REGISTER WITH GREENLEES
1 BY MAIL :. (preferred option for the committee)
All registrations need to arrive at PO Box 498, Concord 2137 no later than MONDAY 29th January. These registrations must contain a signed registration form and a Cheque made out to Greenlees Netball Club for the required amount.
2 ATTEND REGISTRATION DAY:
SATURDAY 3RD FEBRUARY
Cintra Park Admin Building - 1pm and 3pm.
*** NOTE TIMES DIFFERENT TO PREVIOUS YEARS***
Teams will be limited to 9 players where possible so late registrations will only will be looked at if there is room in the relevant age group. Teams will only contain 10 players from original registrations
All NEW players will to need provide a copy of their Birth Certificate and 2 Identical Passport size photos
FEES SCHEDULE
Please note that this fee also included a considerable increase in the fee we pay to Netball NSW.
Mini Magpies $55.00 - as below Plus Association T-Shirt included
Juniors & Cadets (8 to 17) $90.00 – Includes Registration, Insurance and fundraising levy
Seniors (18+) $100.00 – Includes Registration, Insurance and fundraising levy
Non Playing Members $40.00 - Included Registration, Insurance
Life Members Playing - $85.00 Non Playing - $40.00
All fees are due at time of registration however please speak to our Treasurer Lisa if there is a problem. If fees are not paid fully by the first game of the season the player may be ineligible to play.
No player will be registered without a registration form signed by either the parent (under 18) or player (seniors) and Late registrations will only be considered if submitted on a Registration Form with full payment and there is availability in an appropriate team.
UNIFORMS
There will be some uniforms available for purchase from our Uniform Convenor on Registration and Grading day. If you size is not available or you are unable to attend please contact Marion ASAP. Please do not leave it until the last minute or you may be disappointed.
